What Sets Us Apart From Everyone Else:
Owner: Jenifer Frierson is the owner and director of the Discovery Depot. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education and certified to teach grades Pre-K through Eighth. She taught in the St. Tammany Parish School system for 7 years before pursuing her dream of opening a Class A childcare center. Jenifer's main goal in life is to know Jesus Christ and instill those values in her children and the children of her community. Jenifer is also the current Children's Ministry Director at Evans Creek Baptist Church.
Our Business
In today's fast-paced world, most families rely on two incomes. As a parent, educator and owner of the Discovery Depot, I know first hand the importance of a quality childcare center. Therefore, I have made it the goal of the Discovery Depot to have 100% satisfaction from our customers. All parents are encouraged to address any concerns about their child's care with the classroom teacher, as well as myself, and office management. Our goal is parent satisfaction!

We encourage parental involvement, and have an open door policy for parents.
Our classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio.
We are a Class "A" licensed facility, with over 200 state requirements fulfilled.
We provide all school supplies for your child during our captivating lessons.
We provide breakfast, lunch and 2-3 snacks per day.
A member of management is on site from 8 AM - 6 PM each day.
All employees are CPR and First Aid certified.
Prompt communication is made through daily reports, monthly newsletters and a parent communication bulletin board.
Safety and security are top-priority. We provide electronic check-in and out.
Our staff listens carefully and quickly responds to any parent questions or concerns.
